A fall born ewe lamb off our main flock sire, a Poorton W124 1671 son. Her dam is a daughter of 21E (my best ewe family), who lambs on our accelerated schedule. If I didn't have so many of my Horned Dorsets from the same ewe line, this one would be staying in the flock. Hard one to let go.

Lots of British genetics here! A son of Piddington Nico and a grandson of Hornpipe Blackbird, this AI-sired twin weighed 82 pounds at 76 days of age. Growth and muscle, along with excellent breed character! Scrotal 34 cm. Scrapie genotype RR.

An in-dam purchase from Don Johnston's Sky Blue flock, this guy is sired by a really good Sheep Trax ram and out of a ewe that goes back to the FCLB 43895C ram from Quebec. The grandsire 260F can be seen in the photos at the top of this page, he was the Champion Ram at the 2019 Priddis & Millarville Fair. This grandson is carrying on the thickness and smoothness of the FCLB ram (260F's sire), who left his stamp on a lot of sheep. This ram is line bred to Sheep Trax Daisy 126D (both Sheep Trax Candy 11H and Sheep Trax FInella 178F are her daughters), a ewe with excellent productivity and longevity (she had triplets in February of this year at 8 years old). This little girl, affectionately nicknamed "Chiffie", a Cree word meaning "little girl", was the runt of the litter. And while still the smallest, she is not really small. At their vet check on April 11, she was 7.5 weeks and weighed nearly 800g, which is right on track for a female. She LOVES her food! And she is also very cuddly. Whomever gets this kitten, you will not be disappointed!

This chubby llittle girl (at 7.5 weeks on April 11 at her vet check she weighed in at a hefty 930g!) has been nicknamed "Cheesecake". She is a super social cuddly little thing who will climb your leg if you don't pay attention to her right away. Super sweet, more so than your average Bengal! 

Beautifully marked silver male from Catalina and Bugsy! He looked quite dark from birth, and I attributed that at first to his being a melanistic carrier. But now it is quite clear that he is actually a charcoal. It is very difficult to find information on the development of charcoal in the breed. It is commonly assumed that they are obvious at birth (with the possible exception of seal lynx snows), but this guy seems to belie that. I have seen a photo of another silver charcoal that at two weeks of age was not really obvious. This guy was over 8 weeks before it became undeniable! NICKNAME  Charcoal Charlie. SALE PENDING!

Though I knew Bagheera was a marble carrier, I had become so engrossed in producing chrarcoals that it didn't even occur to me that Catalina might be too. Well, she is! This kitten came out as black as night, but with the  obvious mask-and-goggles and lighter feet of the charcoal. (She can only be a charcoal, as her sire is a melanistic and her dam is an Apb carrier.) But as time went by, the spots did not appear. One week, two weeks, nothing. That was when I realized she must be a marble. And after a few more days I realized she must be a sheet marble! That is exactly what the name implies- the marbling is in wide sheets across the body. Marbles are not as popular as rosetted Bengals, but sheet marbles hold a special place in the hearts of breeders. Sheet marbles are used to produce outstanding rosettes.

I realize that right now it is almost impossible to tell what this kitten is going to look like. I will post new photos as her pattern opens up. SALE PENDING!

Beautiful seal lynx snow, the largest kitten in this litter. He is potentially a charcoal, with the snows, and especially the lynxes, it is almost impossible to tell at birth, and the coloration will come in as he grows. He has been spoken for!

The charcoals that are brown underneath are always obvious at birth, no doubt about this little girl! Mel's previous charcoals have turned out full of beauty, attitude, and sass. So here's another one! Still available as of April 13th, 2024.
