Buster is an 18 year old Welsh gelding he stands about 12 1/2 hands tall. He has raised my 3 kids through there beginnings into horsemanship and turned them into true cowboys and cowgirls. Buster has competed in our local lighthorse club in gymkhana excelling in poles, stakes, thread the needle, flags and barrels. He has also competed in team cattle sorting. Buster has taken yearly trips to Ya Ha Tinda where he keeps up with no issues and is great in camp. We have used Buster around the ranch for everything cow, he has seen it all and absolutely loves sorting pairs. Buster is a big horse in a little body, meaning that he will need an aggressive child who has the ability to Boss him. He is not mean but he will push his boundaries. Buster requires no maintenance but he does require limited feed, meaning if you just turn him out to graze he will eat himself to death. All he requires is short pasture and he is fine. Buster has been a part of our family for many years so we will only let him go to an approved home simply somewhere where he will get regular rides and his diet will be followed.
