Focusing on quality conformation and versatility, we are proud to produce Paint and Quarter Horses destined to achieve success in the showring or the rodeo arena, on the range or on the trail.

Since our program began in 1989, we at WD Enterprises have remained true to our focus, breeding horses that fit perfectly into diverse equine lifestyles, just like those of our own family - ranching, team penning, gymkhana, rodeo, horse shows, Dressage and trail riding.

The family-owned operation is managed by Jake and Cathy Daniels, along with son, Tyler. We hold various memberships including AQHA, APHA, APHC, NRHA (National Reining Horse Association), CTCPA (Canadian Team Cattle Penning Association), SCTPA (South Country Team Penning Association). Cathy and Jake are both heavily involved as volunteers and leaders in 4-H. Tyler grew up on a horse, recently graduated from the Lethbridge Community College with an Agriculture Diploma and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Lethbridge. Cathy’s parents, Bill and Gwen West, are retired but live on site and still have a hand in the home operation. Brother Marty West lives in Camrose Alberta, along with his wife Cindy, where they run family bred horses as well.

The home place is located southeast of Lethbridge, easily accessible from the Lethbridge airport and just off of Highway #3, #4 or #5, depending on the route you are following.
