Welcome to Rafter LP Stables.  Located 30 minutes east of Edmonton, Alberta right beside the Blackfoot Provincial Grazing Lease, the Pasmeny family is raising and showing registered American Paint Horses.  We started out with our stallion, Stormy Canoe, multiple Grand Champion producer, followed by our outstanding multiple Grand Champion mare, Mis Maximum Frost and the colour, conformation, athleticism and beauty has been coming ever since. Our goal is not to have a large number of horses, but have every type of horse to choose from halter to performance.

Rafter LP Stables would like to welcome our latest addition to the farm Jack Be Fancy to be standing at stud. He brings with him outstanding bloodlines for both AQHA and APHA mares. Check out our stallion page for more info on "Jack".

It is with great pride and pleasure that the Pasmeny's announce the official retirement of our great mare Stormys Blue Eyed Mis, pictured above, after achieving her Superiors in Open, Amateur and Youth in her short but outstanding show career. She finished with a "bang" with ten Grand Championships, five Res. Grand Championships and was the 2007 Zone 10 Hi Point Halter Mare.  We couldn't be more proud of her being our first home raised and trained show horse and we look forward to her next and much deserved career of being a mom and raising beautiful babies.  We'll miss taking her to the shows with us but really enjoy seeing her for the first time be a "horse" running in the pastures and eating grass.
