WE HAVE changed our email to anchory@albertahighspeed.net
On Sept 08, Bell Vet Clinic was here (Roxie) and preg checked the mares, we had 23 out of 25 were bred.
The foals are weaned for 2009 and some have gone to new homes, we still have some good ones here for sale, and have gradually started halter breaking some of them, and getting the registration started on them, but do need to get out and get more picture's.
Already starting to look forward to 2010 and see what foaling brings, since this will be Strait Cut's first foal crop.
If you have one of our horses and would like to send me a picture to add to memory lane this winter, I would love to have it.
I found some old pictures on a CD, so decided to post some of them for memory lane. Some of the Stallions we have used, Jusskip Rabbit (I know what a name, Dale named a few of Sandy's foals along the Rabbit family) who we had high hopes for, but only had one foal crop before he passed on. The Huskers Tux, who I'm sure none will come close to replacing his spot in my heart, Justa Jewelin Dude added a few broodmares to our bunch, who was Dale's soft spot. DC Kit Kat Bar, who we kept sired by Rabbit, but at that time we had Tux, and really didn’t need another Stallion, along those lines. Skip the cremello sired 3 foal crops while he was here, we wanted to play with having more palominos, but for the most part found them to light. Sugar Dees Salt our first paint stallion, he was homozygous, which is what we were hoping for at the time, but what a temperament he contributed to his foals, and for the most part size also.
We have what we feel are 2 stallion prospects for sale, the buckskin 2008 AQHA, who is sired by Justa Jewelind dude, and out of a Skipper W mare with a touch of run in her. The other is a 2009 black Tobiano that is sired by Chip and out of a Tux X Jusskip Rabbit mare. Both pictures are on our main page.
And of course I can’t forget to mention Cayden & Grady our grandson’s that were born about 10 days apart this summer, and sitting on there great grandpa’s knee. Dad turned 80 this summer.
And Last But not least, my computor really messed with my email's and took everything, so if you have asked about a horse and I haven't got back to you...it's because it's gone...I can't find a trace of it anywhere. Gotta love these computor's , can't live with them, and can't live without them.
